A huge CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the following VSA swimmers.  They obtained a top 5 time in the state of Mississippi during the 2010 short course and/or 2011 long course seasons.  This is a great accomplishment!  Keep up the hard work Killer Whales.

It’s that time of year when USA Swimming forms are due.  Please download your form today.  Completed forms are due to Sabrina with a $54 check made out to Mississippi Swimming before October 31.  Our club code is VSAI and please don’t forget to sign the form.  As a reminder, all swimmers must submit a completed form by the due date in order to be eligible for swim meets.

VSA is hosting two FREE try it weeks in August.  Click on the link to check out our flyer.  Bring your child to the City Pool during the dates and hours listed below and we will give you some information about our organization while your child participates in swim practice.  Don’t forget to bring a bathing suit, goggles, and towel.

Monday, August 15 – Thursday, August 18:  5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Monday, August 22 – Thursday, August 25:  4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Swimmers must swim 25 yards unassisted to join team.

Practice has been cancelled for Friday, March 4th.  Regular practice resumes on Monday.   Have a great weekend.

As a reminder, we have a parent meeting at 6pm on March 3 in the meeting room at the YMCA.    We will be giving out a lot of information at this meeting. Please have at least one parent attend.  We will be giving out information on the following:
